To have quick and easy Halloween cupcakes and cookies...
1. Buy them ready made!

3. Decorations:
There are 2 options with decorations..

4. Music:
It's good to have music playing in the background! Even better is to have halloween themed music as well as your favourite songs!
Here's a few Halloween songs that you may like:

- Highway to Hell
- Ghost busters

5. Activities:
Activities that you could do are:

How to make your room Halloween-y!

Hello!

Hope you have had a fab week!

So today I'm going to be talking about room decor! There hasn't been a room decor post on this blog in a while so yeah... Enjoy!

1. Candles candles candles.
There are millions of candles available that would be perfect for Halloween! (E.g pumpkin) in fact, as I write this I have an apple scented candle burning at the moment.

2. Pumpkins.
In every shop there is some sort of pumpkin item! Whether it is pumpkin fairy lights or real pumpkins, these are a quick and easy way to make your room have an instant Halloween theme. (I would recommend getting plastic pumpkins though so you can use them again next year.)

3. Cushions, blankets and anything cosy.
This obviously doesn't have to be specifically for Halloween, but there are so many cute Halloween themed cushions and then a 'burnt orange' shade of a blanket is perfect to throw over your bed.

4. Makeup organisation.
It's great to mix and match up your makeup frequently and what I like to do is to have my everyday makeup on display. So you can have golden eyeshadows and berry lip colours on show which is perfect for Halloween.

5. Pictures.
Whether you like to take pictures or you just decide to print it off on the Internet, it is great to make a  collage to fit this time of the year. It's a great DIY to do on a rainy day with a cup of tea.

So I hope you enjoyed this post, please comment your thoughts and ideas for future blog posts.

Halloween treats! (Ghost edition)

Hey guys!

I hope you are all well! Today it's just mouse!

So in this blog post, I will be talking (a.k.a rambling) about easy treats to make for Halloween.

You can use these for parties, maybe a sleepover with friends or just for yourself! Whatever tickles your fancy!

Let's get on with these cool ideas!

1. Cover any fruit that you want with white chocolate. Personally, I like the idea of covering strawberries with it or apples. Wait for it to dry and then, with black icing or sprinkles, add the eyes and mouth. And voila, an easy treat that is so simple yet effective!

2. Melt some white marshmallows. While they are still melted place them into a piping bag and make wiggly shapes on some greaseproof paper. Wait for them to dry and, again, add some sprinkles or black icing to form the mouth and eyes.

3. This last one is a bit more time consuming but it looks great! Bake some chocolate cupcakes, and then add a nice thick layer of white icing. Add on some eyes and a mouth with chocolate buttons (or any chocolate that you want). This makes really delicious cupcakes.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. We would really appreciate it if you commented your thoughts down below. Also be sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram @cailascreations

Halloween!!

Hello everyone!!

Today it's just giraffe and guess what?!?!!!?? It's October!! And that means one thing... It nearly Halloween 😝 with Halloween just round the corner I thought that I would give you a few ideas on Halloween costumes! Enjoy!

1. Wound or scar: this is a really simple idea that you can spook out your friends with. Take some face paint (professional or from a Halloween store) and create a scars and wounds of all kinds on your face (there are LOADS of videos in YouTube to show you how) and then you can wear what ever clothes you like.. This is good if you live in a rainy, cold place like the UK !!!!!

2. "Ready-made" costumes: you could go to a grocery store or a Halloween shop and just buy a costume and (optionally) a wig, then you just have to whip it on and you are ready to go!

3. Sugar skull: using face paint, or any make up of your choice, create a sugar skull design on your face (there are, again, a lot of tutorials on YouTube to follow) and then wear a black top, a tutu and a cape (optional) and you have the perfect outfit to go with your sugarskull make up!

4. Your favourite celebrity: search for a picture of your favourite celebrity and try to re-create what clothes they generally wear. Then, recreate their make up and hairstyle (using a wig might help if you have different hair colours to them) and you are done!

5. Vampire: this one is really easy!! Paint your face so that it is really pale but not quite white. Wear dark clothes and put some fake blood on the corners of your lips.

6. Devil: paint your whole face red and wear red clothes. Wear some devil horns, these can be found in most shops or Halloween stores. If you want a more 'glam' devil, do a smokey eye using black and red, wear a matte red lipstick, devil horns and a red dress.

I hope you enjoyed this blogpost, we may post some more costume ideas so don't worry if none of the ones above 'float your boat'!!! Make sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter @cailascreations

Byeeee!!
